CLA Meeting October, 2023

October 17, 2023, was CLA’s first meeting for the new school year! We met at St Paul Inside the Walls from 9:30-12:00, and most stayed for 12:15 Mass.
We gathered together for coffee and light snacks, then moved upstairs for a group discussion about three topics… Sacramental Retreats, The Eucharistic Revival, and Family Catechesis. -
We broke up into small groups and then gathered back together to share what we learned. It was such an inspiring time to listen to our partners in Ministry as we all brought something to the table to share.
Our next gathering is on December 11, 2023. I hope you can join us!

CLA Meeting June, 2023

On June 8, 2023, 30 members of the CLA attended our final year retreat at the Villa Pauline Retreat House in Mendham, NJ. It was a memorable day from start to finish beginning with a light breakfast and moving on to the highlight of the day, listening to Sr. Theresa and Sr. Nivia grace us with a discussion on the life of our Blessed Mother. What a glorious time!
We then stepped into the beautiful chapel where Fr. Yojan joyfully gave Mass, followed by a delicious lunch.
All DREs/CREs of the Paterson Diocese are welcome and encouraged to join us at future events!

Our Lady of Consolation Parish, Wayne, October, 2022

On this glorious, crisp fall day, we gathered together for a joyful Mass celebrated by Fr. Michael Lombardo before traveling down the hill to the Ministry Center for fellowship. We started off with coffee and light refreshments while meeting each other for the first time or catching up with old friends.

Then it was down to business with the swearing-in of the new board members. Once that task was satisfied, we shared wonderful ideas on important topics, such as Sacramental readiness, parental involvement, and much more. It was a fun and faith-filled morning, enjoyed by all!
