Academic Dean for Evangelization
Allan Wright has a wide range of Catholic educational experience on both high school and college levels which have prepared him for the responsibility to ensure that all of the courses at St. Paul Inside the Walls are consistent with the magisterial teaching of the Catholic Church. In addition, he teaches courses on scripture and oversees the “evangelizing element” of all other presentations. He is the published author of three books on scripture and holds a MA in Theology from Immaculate Conception Seminary. His work at the Center is testament to his belief that “evangelization is bringing the good news of Jesus to every person in every situation.”
In his forty years of experience in teaching theology and working with the younger generation, Philip Russo has gained the insight which enables him to provide training, guidance, and counsel for parish youth ministers. He instructs them to understand that Catholics must by word and deed give Gospel testimony to all the groups that they might encounter including believers, cultural Catholics, and strangers to the faith. He holds an undergraduate degree in classical languages and a M.Div. in pastoral ministry.
